Fox and the rest of right wing media were able to install trump twice (with help from a completely inept news media and again, russia). And trump is the dumbest piece of shit they could have possible chosen.
I don’t speak to a lot of trump cultists as we don’t spend time in the same places online – but here’s a couple things they apparently care about and used as a dumbfuck reason to vote for trump and against themselves.
- The border. Right wing media has been demonizing immigrants (but only brown and black immigrants from trump’s “shithole” countries) for decades. They have complained about a migrant crime wave despite the fact that immigrants commit fewer crimes than citizens. They have consistently claimed dems have an “open border”, which was always a lie. And the right wing cult doesn’t care that trump blocked a very strong border bill. Voting for trump because you care about “the border” is complete and utter stupidity.
- Prices – these dumbfucks think that trump will lower prices. The ONLY way republicans ever lower prices is with massive recessions, and that isn’t good policy dumbfucks. If you need to know why recessions aren’t good, maybe I’ll go into that another time. Thinking recessions (which republicans do consistently) are good is a deeper level of stupid than I want to delve into at the moment. And what do experts think about trump’s policies?

So what kinda of dumbfuckery leads someone to think tariffs that increase costs for americans will instead lower costs? Maybe these people are the kind of stupid that sees trump not as the idiot he is, but as someone with “business knowledge” and trump repeating tariff stupidity gets them to believe it? Saying something idiotic a hundred times doesn’t make it suddenly a good idea, maga cultists.
And it’s not just the tariffs. Trump’s deportation plan is likely to drastically reduce the number of workers who pick our food (and terrorize every citizen with brown skin). Good luck getting fat americans to do that work. Produce will likely wilt in the fields, driving up prices as supply decreases.
But hey, at least billionaires will pay less taxes.
