The strength of the republican party in economics is:
– debt building handouts for the wealthy (republican tax cuts are the largest element of the national debt)
– outsourcing jobs (tax cuts for corporations that ship jobs overseas)
– deregulation for giant corporations, wall street and the biggest banks (often leading to disaster)
– recessions (since the 50’s, 91% of the recessions in the USA began under republicans)
Are republicans good at managing the border?
There have been several attempts in the last two decades to reform immigration and more strongly limit immigration. Every effort was blocked by republicans.
Are republicans good at energy production?
We are producing record amounts of oil right now under Biden. More than under Trump.
Republicans are focused on giving subsidies to the most polluting energies rather than support cleaner technologies, but it hasn’t led to more energy or lower energy prices. In fact, deregulation of energy speculation under GWB massively increased the cost of gas in the USA.
And deregulating the fossil fuel industries has led to preventable natural disasters.
Nevermind that: Fossil fuel air pollution responsible for 1 in 5 deaths worldwide, I’m sure they are pro-life, right? Lol
Are republicans good at reducing abortions?
The sharpest drops in abortion rates in America have been under Democratic presidents
So no, they aren’t. However, republicans are good at making sure women have to give birth to their rapist’s baby.
