And before that, we learned that senator Jim Demint stopped a piece of legislation that would have prevented secret holds in the senate. And he obstructs that legislation while stating his opposition to the secret holds – while preventing legislation that would have stopped it.
Amazing to say it after the year of saying no, but the republican party is finding new and creative ways of obstructing legislative work.
